ABOUT ME

Back when I was a young high school student, I took a class called “Laws, Courts, and Crimes.” My teacher was excellent and compelling, and after that semester I was sure that I wanted to pursue a legal career. After finishing my undergrad at UC- Santa Barbara, I pursued my dream of becoming a lawyer at Pepperdine Law School where I graduated with my law degree in 1983.
OPENING MY OWN FIRM
The first firm I worked for after law school allowed me to take on and gain experience in many areas of law. This ultimately prepared me to strike out on my own. With a wide breadth of experience to draw from and a solid client base built up, I was confident in my abilities and ready to go. So, in 1990, I opened the Law Offices of Scott G. Nathan.
I see how companies and people get taken advantage of by others on a regular basis. I use my unique experience to protect my clients' interests.
For over 36 years, my firm has been dedicated to delivering the highest quality legal work at an affordable rate. This has allowed my firm to compete with some of the area’s largest law firms. My reputation is built on my clients knowing they can expect the individual attention, true attentiveness and compassion their case deserves.
A REPUTATION FOR RELIABLE LEGAL COUNSEL & SERVICES
As a client-centered practice, my law firm works diligently to find creative solutions tailored to each client’s unique needs. I have served California businesses, families, and individuals on many levels.
BUSINESS LAW
With business law, I have vast experience in drafting leases, purchase agreements, business agreements, and business entity creation and maintenance. As an experienced litigator, I have personally resolved over 2,000 cases and tried cases in both State and Federal courts.
PERSONAL INJURY
For personal injury victims, or clients interested in estate administration services, the empathy and compassion I bring to each case allows me to build strong legal strategies to help clients protect their futures.
